Hello,

My name is Allison. I am a multidisciplinary creative tinker working in Montreal. I employ various materials to express myself, primarily video, installation and drawing. I combine traditional practices with advanced techniques to search out new systems of presenting my art work. including interactive video projects, video games, puppet performance and drawing installations. The medium does not dictate my ideas, but rather my ideas dictate the medium in which I work. My projects are socially and politically conscience. I try to include a level of absurdity, humor and surrealism - in an effort to connect the natural, truisms in life to the uncanny, the supernatural and the mystic. My directive is in alternative storytelling, and in cultural observation. Thank you for visiting.
